Team MarcumRachlin Donates 1,366 Pounds of Food

Showing South Florida just how much MarcumRachlin cares, MarcumRachlin team members donated 1,366 pounds of food—enough for 911 meals—to the Daily Bread Food Bank. The food was collected during a week-long canned goods drive in the firm’s Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach offices in November.

“With so many families in our community hit hard by the economic downturn, this year’s food drive at Rachlin was more important than ever,” said Suzanne Leslie, executive director of the Rachlin Foundation. “Our team members responded generously, once again showing the South Florida community just how much Rachlin cares.”

Daily Bread Food Bank distributes approximately 18 million pounds of food a year through a network of 800 not-for-profit agencies in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Through member agencies’ feeding programs for children in need, the mentally and physically challenged, battered women, the elderly, people living with HIV/AIDS, the homeless and the working poor, Daily Bread strives to serve those in need with compassion and impartiality.
