Fort Lauderdale , FL— On Saturday, June 16, 15 volunteers representing the Marcum Foundation helped in a home-building project for Habitat for Humanity of Broward. The volunteers painted, planted trees and installed roof shingles for eight homes in Pompano Beach.

“Giving back to the communities we serve is a priority at Marcum LLP,” said Lawrence Blum, senior partner, Marcum LLP. “We consider it a privilege to help local families in need through community service projects such as this that can help improve their quality of life.”

The Marcum Foundation plans to hold another home-building project with Habitat for Humanity of Broward in July.

Marcum LLP is the only Florida-based accounting and advisory firm that has a charitable giving program of this kind.
