19th Annual Broward County Humane Society
Walk for the Animals
The 19th Annual Broward County Humane Society Walk for the Animals was held on March 7, 2009. Thirteen enthusiastic Marcum LLP employees and their pups joined our “pack” for the event. The fundraiser enables the Broward County Humane Society to properly care for animals in their facility by supplying: food, shelter, vaccinations, toys, love, and most importantly, they find them a new loving home.
Marcum LLP donated $2,468 and participated in the 1.25 mile walk at Fort Lauderdale’s Huizenga Plaza. All donations go directly to the animals, the shelter and its programs, like pet therapy for older adults and spay and neuter initiatives.
